Whether required as the result of an uncontrolled release or spill, or as part of a routine water quality monitoring programme associated with a particular licence, consent or permit, SLP Environmental provide a comprehensive water quality monitoring and assessment service.

Our samples are collected, transported and stored in strict accordance with international best practise methodologies and protocols. Chemical and microbiological analyses are only undertaken by SLP approved laboratories that are accredited to the appropriate international quality control standards.

SLP offer a full assessment of measured chemical and microbiological parameters utilising the appropriate regulatory quality standard for the jurisdiction. SLP can also offer detailed quantitative risk assessment modelling services to determine the significance of any pollution event in terms of the potential risks to the health of humans exposed to the contamination via direct and/or indirect pathways and the aquatic ecosystem itself.   

Whether we are investigating a fish kill incident, or health problems due to human exposure to contaminated water, our rigorous environmental forensics and multiple lines of evidence approach, will help identify the most likely cause of the incident and aid the formulation of an appropriate risk management strategy.
