Environmental & Social Management System for Animal Feed Manufacturing in Kampong Speu, Cambodia
SLP Environmental developed a tailored Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) for an animal feed manufacturing facility in Kampong Speu, Cambodia, following environmental and social due diligence commissioned by an international financial institution. The system included an environmental and social policy, a legal compliance register, risk screening procedures and management programmes covering supplier and contractor risks, confined space entry and stakeholder grievances. SLP also trained senior personnel responsible for implementing, monitoring and maintaining the system. The benefits of an effective ESMS includes:

Once the ESMS was approved by the Client and the Company, SLP provided high level ESMS training to senior Company personnel tasked with implementing and taking ownership of the management system moving forwards.
